How to affiliate your dojo to the DAA

handshakeFor a wide variety of reasons, many dojos can find themselves isolated, technically and administratively. The Dublin Aikikai Aikido proposes to endorse any dojo that would wish to benefit from its expertise and its very good connections with French and Japanese Aikikai.

The application process is simple, just come over to one of our seminar and meet us! The best way to get to know each other is to practice together. Affiliated clubs run their own affairs, their is absolutely no fee at any time for affiliation. Grading examinations are run by the DAA board of instructors and all grades are officially recognised by the Aikikai fondation.

Dedicated practice and regular presence to the seminars organised by the DAA are the only requirements. The DAA does not believe in charging members additional fees for Advanced Training Programs as all the work should be done at the dojo and during courses.

For more information on grading regulations within the DAA, please go to the Yudansha Grades Regulations section of this website.
