The answer was clear I had to bring my Aikido suit along without my Hakama as my rucksack was already too heavy! Then I had to prepare a list of clubs that I would visit. Unfortunately it was not so easy to find clubs or to be there at the right time to attend classes. Asia was the most difficult to find clubs. We spent a long time looking for a club in Vientiane (Lao's capital) without any success. The same for Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand were I was unable to train. Australia was the same as the country is very big and Aikido is practiced mainly in big cities. It was also the summer break over there so for example the Darwin dojo was closed... Below you will find some pictures of the visited clubs. You might think I was crazy to train on such a trip! In fact it was a great opportunity to meet people and go for drinks or be invited at their house after the class. Sometimes I didn't have my camera with me as I have a reflex camera that weigh 1,5 kg with the zoom so I had to leave it behind me at the hotel. So I don't have the pictures of South America and Buenos Aires where I practiced a few times. I would like to thank all the clubs for welcoming me into their Dojo. It was a great experience! Hopefully I will be able to visit them again and other Dojos around the world. {gallery}articles\cyril-world-tour{/gallery}
